ESTIMATED COSTS

While we are unable to give you an exact estimate of the cost of our services without viewing your space in-person, we have provided some prices and price ranges below to give you an initial, ballpark estimate of what if might cost to paint your space. The cost of our painting services is highly variable for the simple fact that every space is different - varying in size, texture, and general condition. The quote you receive may be higher or lower than your ballpark estimate. Contact us today to set up an appointment for your in-person consultation to receive your quote.

Painting

  • $1.75 per square foot for walls

  • $2.00 per square foot for ceilings

  • $1.50 per foot for trim (baseboards, crown molding, door molding, window trim, etc.)

  • $150 per door

  • $15-30 per window (depending on size)

  • $100 per additional color or paint texture incorporated into a space. (Example: Painting a room 3 different colors would cost an additional $200.)

Prep Work

The cost of prep work varies widely and is dependent on the size, texture​, and general condition of your walls, ceilings, trim, doors, windows, etc. At this time, prep work estimates can only be made in-person.

Moving Furniture

We strongly encourage our clients to move their own furniture and items at least 4 feet from the painting workspaces prior to the start of the painting job. If, however, you are unable to move your furniture and items yourself, we may be able to move your items for an additional fee ranging from $100-$250 per room.

Deposit

  • A deposit of 20% of the total cost is due at the time of scheduling your painting job. The remaining 80% is due at completion.

  • Payments may be made with credit cards, cash, or money orders.

  • Electronic payments may incur an additional processing fee.

Rescheduling Fees

  • There will be no fee for jobs the client reschedules 14 or more calendar days prior to the start of the painting job.

  • There will be a fee of 25% of the deposit price for jobs the client reschedules 7-13 calendar days prior to the start of the painting job.

  • There will be a fee of 50% of the deposit price for jobs the client reschedules less than 7 calendar days prior to the start of the painting job.

  • Each client may only reschedule his or her painting job once. If the job needs to be rescheduled more than once, it will be considered a cancellation, and a new deposit of 20% of the total cost of the job will be required to schedule the job again.

  • There will be no fee for the client when Baylus initiates the rescheduling of a job.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • 100% of the deposit will be refunded for jobs the client cancels 14 or more calendar days prior to the start of the painting job.

  • There will be no refund of the deposit for jobs the client cancels less than 14 calendar days prior to the start of the painting job.

  • If Baylus has to initiate a cancellation of services at any time before the job begins, the client will receive 100% of their deposit back.

  • Please carefully consider your scheduling timeframe before booking your job.
